As a drawing and a multimedia artist, I am interested in exploring the concept of wandering through the use of daydreaming and automatic drawing. For this, I approach my work as visual poetry arising from the liberation of the imaginary, the unconscious and the accidental. It is out of these insurmountable forces that the strange landscapes, creatures and natural formations that populate my graphic worlds are born.
A recurrent appearance in my work is a character of unknown origin with the capacity to travel between parallel realities. His/her wanderings represent our ability to move through spatio-temporal multiverses via the faculties of the unconscious.
My creations open gates into sensual possibilities, portals into seemingly disconnected puzzle pieces, absurd memories and chaotic timelines. It is up to the reader to find meaning in this territory of the senseless and the irrational.
